Currently veterans who were honorably
discharged for service are entitled to several different benefits, including:
burial in a veteran’s cemetery, veteran’s flags and grave markers, and in
some cases monetary funeral allowances. “All
too often people are not informed of the benefits they are entitled to receive,
we have actively promoted the education of these benefits so that all veterans
can receive what they most certainly deserve, states Frank Patti, a licensed
funeral director for over forty years. “In
addition, the government also has started a military honors program, which we
secure for every eligible veteran.” The
military honors program insures that military personnel will be present at the
funeral of a veteran to play taps, as well as fold and present the flag to the
next of kin. “Most of these benefits are easily attained if the proper documentation is in order” said Frank Patti, Jr. director of the new program. “Our new pre-qualifying program will insure that the documentation is in order and pre-pared well before the need arises, eliminating the stress on family members when death occurs.” In addition, we can now help veteran's who have lost or misplaced their discharge papers secure a new copy. Call us today for details. The new pre-qualifying program will assist in securing all of these honors as well as determining eligibility of burial in a national veterans cemetery as well as in Arlington National Cemetery. All veterans are encouraged to call the funeral home at (201) 944-0100, or visit them at 327 Main Street, Fort Lee, NJ |
