Although I was not close personally, she always greeted me with sincere affection and grace at various NJAJ functions and events. 12. My heart and thoughts have been with the family over the last several days after hearing about the loss of a truly beautiful lady. I was fortunate to meet Ms Alice in my late teens (over 20 years ago) working with the Maggianos. She was someone I looked up to with a huge heart, bright smile, family oriented, caring, loving, nurturing, patient, hard working, handle any task that was put in front of her…. such a dynamic woman! Her memory will be eternal as I know she touched so many people in her life. Rest in Peace Ms Alice ❤️ You always were and always will be one of the most beautiful people I've ever met. 16. It has been so many years since I have seen Alice but my last encounter was something I remember until this day. I know she had a life of her dreams, because in 1966 standing outside of the Maggiano store in Fort Lee she told me, she really wanted to be with Mike, and I just knew it was right, and told her it would come true. I feel for the entire family in losing such a wonderful person.

  18. I knew and worked with and for Alice on her home and for the office for over twenty years.
Just spoke in the spring when she requested mulch for the properties.
Never let on about her illness. Always smiling and positive. I was shocked when I heard the news.
A wonderful and beautiful person. I could only wish all of my clients where half as nice as Alice.
    Rest in peace, Allice.

  19. Alice made an incredible impression on me during the limited time we spent together. My husband is fortunate to be a longtime friend of Michael and Alice, and I only met them relatively recently. Alice was so warm and welcoming, her kindness shone through all she did. She loved talking about family: Michael- the love of her life, her kids, grandkids and her doodle. Her elegance and loving way truly are an inspiration. Surely her family is at a loss without her, but I hope they feel the love and support from all of us who adore Alice. She was an angel on earth, and she is at peace now in a very special place.

  20. Aly and Mike, you have been an inspiration for all that have found love in their lives. You both shone so bright and dwarfed the suns rays, so that the rest of us could simply watch and admire the love in the beauty that emanated from the two of you together.
This really isn’t the end, it’s only the beginning of the love that will carry the two of you throughout eternity‘s grace. You will both sit at the arm of god who will adorn both of you with the glory, and the love that you shared with everyone here on earth. You have been an inspiration for Amanda and me, to follow in your path, for the light is so bright on the path that you created with each smile and passing glance. You are loved by so many who may have thought they knew you, when, in reality, you knew so many souls, that almost all considered you their very dear friends, yet perhaps you knew them in only in passing by.
May the hand of G-d touch both of you. You’ll both be united in eternal love and peace!
Michael, I will be here for you anytime you want to talk.
    Stay well, my dear friend.
    Richard & Amanda Shapiro
