Mami
No sabes cuanto te extraño. Paula
Mama was a strong, compassionate, hard working, generous, and incredible woman. Mama was someone who loved with her whole heart and cared deeply for those around her. She would stop at anything to please those she cared for. She was an expert at making people feel like they were on top of the world. She made people feel important and as if they could accomplish anything. Everything mama did was to benefit someone else. Mama loved us enough for this lifetime and the next. Mama was the first person you would want to go to after getting good news. With mama around, nothing was ever missing. Mama knew exactly what to say and do to make you feel better. She knew what everyone needed and was prepared at all times. Everything mama did was out of love for others. She was a woman who never failed to make everyone around her feel special. She always told us how proud of us she was but she did not have to because her eyes said it all. She’d look at us with pure admiration and nothing we could do would ever make her think any less of us. Mama wanted the best for us and always pushed us to do better. Mama made each and every one of us feel important and always showed us how much she loved us. She encouraged and supported us in everything we did. Mama was the first breath you take after being underwater, sunshine after a stormy week, the remedy to an illness, rest after sleepless nights, and the peak of a mountain after rocky roads. As long as everyone around her was good, she had no worries. She took care of everyone around her and made sure no one longed for anything. Mama had the ability to put everything on hold as soon as someone else was in need without even thinking twice. Her top priority was always her family and that never changed. There are many angels up in heaven but we were fortunate enough to have one on earth with us. We will miss her saved memes on her phone/iPad and the embarrassing photos she managed to capture. We will miss the separately individualized wrapping for each gift, that she took so much pride in. We will miss the endless supply of white nail polish. We will miss her hugs, her kisses, her voice, and her smile. We were blessed to have had someone as extraordinary and remarkable as mama. Although we are deeply saddened by her absence, God needed a fighter and an angel like her; someone who fought to the very end and never gave up. We love you mama with all our hearts. Until we meet again.
