So sad to hear of his death. I was a student of his at Tarkmantchats, Jerusalem. One day in class I asked him the meaning of " reflex" . He told me to come to his desk and when I did ( albeit cautiously ) he dropped a pen which I quickly grasped with my hands. He said " this is reflex Neshan".
Although I never saw him after he left Jerusalem, I thought about him from time to time. I remember him as a gentle and kind teacher.
May his spirit find peace and safe passage to the next ……..
I was very sad to hear of Antranig's passing. He was an inspiring figure who taught others to love learning and knowledge. He will be missed.
We are so very sorry for your loss. Antranig always treated everyone with kindness and greeting you with a smile. May God rest his soul.
Please accept my deepest condolences on the passing of Antranig. We met at family celebrations and thus shared moments of joy. A very special way to know this warm and caring man. He will be missed.
I also mourn the loss of Antranig, who was a dear colleague of mine at AGBU for almost 10 years. He was an intellectual, kind and helpful person.
May God Grant his soul eternal rest in His Kingdom, and courage and comfort to all his family.
I express my deep condolences for the passing of Mr. Antranig Basmadjian. He has been our teacher at the Armenian seminary in Jerusalem. Fr. Gomidass Sherbetdjian
