Park, Charlton M., age 45, of Fort Lee, formerly of Palisades Park and Paramus, passed on Monday, November 28, 2022. Born in Michigan, he owned and operated Manna’s Restaurant formerly located at Lenox Ave in Harlem, New York.

Beloved husband of “Melinda” Ga Kyung Kim and devoted father to “CJ” Charlton, Jr. and Aerie. Cherished son of Yong S. “Rich” and Hyo S. “Betty”. Dear brother of Ian Park and his wife, Theresa Chun. Adored uncle of Julian, Lucas, Elijah, Gabriel, and Aiden. Precious son-in-law to Ki H. and Young S. Kim. Brother-in-law of Jae H. Kim, Eun Jung Choi, Andrew Kim and Hyunso Cho. He also leaves behind a grandmother, many uncles, aunts and cousins whom he loved.

Charlton was born with a love for excitement. He was as kind and funny as he was brilliant and brave. From the Jersey Shore to the Bronx, he walked everywhere as if he owned the neighborhood. On the surface, he loved a loud, fast car, a rowdy get-together with friends and anything attention-grabbing but in his quieter moments, he was tender, never turning a blind eye to a person in need and was his children’s biggest fan. The sound of his laughter and cheers will be greatly missed.
