  1. I met Denise while working at AT&T. She was one of the kindest people I have ever had the honor of knowing. Her smile could light up a room. Denise looked for the good in everyone and in everything. She had such a caring personality. In any conversation we had, I would always walk away feeling so happy, positive, and lighthearted. Denise had a special gift of always lifting the spirits of those around her. Anyone who was lucky to have known Denise knew that she was a class act and an incredibly special person.

I was happy to reconnect with Denise on FB, and enjoyed seeing her post pictures of her life and how happy she was. She was an incredible mother and truly beamed with pride in her photos. It was apparent that her beautiful son August was truly the light of her life.

I hope that sweet baby August will be your shining star in the darkness during this difficult time.

I will continue to hold your family close in my thoughts and prayers.

    Love,
    Theresa

  2. Denise, I will always remember the laughs we shared and how your smile could light up any room. You were a delight to know. Thank you for your friendship and the good times that we spent together, which now don't seem like enough. I am so sad that you will no longer be with us on earth but hope that your spirit continues to live and laugh always. Love, April

  3. Denise,
Your smile changed people, it warmed people & made them smile as well. You had a great spirit & good heart. 3.5 years ago I was very fortunate to cross paths with you to become instant friends. Watch over Augie! God bless You, Auguie & your Family! I pray you have found peace! Thank you for being my friend! xo Ron

  4. Although I went to high school with Denise I didn't really know her well.It wasn't until after I graduated College and began working for AT&T that I found out what a truly great person she was.My husband Steve and Denise were very good friends and I got a chance to get to know what a kind, caring, wonderful person she was.I am glad that I got to know her and be friends with her for so many years. When she got her real estate license she was helping Steve and I find a house. We looked at so many & I was getting frustrated.Denise said to us we will find the perfect house for you guys.Just give it some time. The very next house was the one! She was so positive and happy for us.We all went out to lunch after the closing. And then she gave us the keys to our new home and future.I am so saddend that this happened to her but so happy that she got to experience her happiness having a husband, house and beautiful child! Her son will have his mommy to watch over him always! Rest in peace Denise.

  5. My deepest condolences to Denise's family. She was beautiful and kind soul. Praying for you and August. She is watching over all of you.

  6. Denise I remember you from school. Always smiling and being positive about things. You never talked ill will of anyone, even when they deserved it. Even in my low points of youthful years, you never treated me differently or hid your smile away from me. I'm deeply saddened to hear of this and pray you find comfort in heaven. I also pray for comfort to your family and many blessings for your son.

  7. I met Denise at the Westside Tavern about 5 years ago. I was looking for a place where my guitar Meetup.com group, the Bergen County Acoustic Musicians, could have to play at every month. From our first meeting, Denise could not have been more friendly and helpful. She introduced me to Frank and, with her recommendation, we played there for the next 2 years! Every month Denise always made us feel welcome and, with that awesome smile, took great care of us and our guests, ranging from 15 to 30 people. No matter how busy she was, there was always that smile. Even on the nights she couldn't make it, she made sure we were covered for the night. We even convinced her to sing 'Hotel California' with us! She had a great voice. People like Denise are rare and I was honored to know her and glad I could help celebrate her life at the service this past Saturday.

  8. There are absolutely no words to comfort you during this unimaginable tragic loss . My hope is that her precious little baby boy is raised by Denise's family so that he will always know & grow up feeling his mommy <3

  9. missing you sooo much Denise not a day goes by that i don't think of you. I know how much you loved cats so I'm leaving this one here for you, your brother Darius and your Dad who are in heaven with you… RIP pretty girl.

  10. Denise was my supervisor for 2 years at AT&T Wireless. I had never met a person not much older than myself that was so full of life, paired with a serendipitous attitude. I couldn't ask for a better superior! I thank God that I was fortunate enough to know Denise. To her beautiful son and the rest of family, please just know that the grave will not be rich with her gifts! Heaven gained an additional…
