Divina Nurdin, age 74, of Fort Lee, New Jersey, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, April 6, 2024. Born in Manila, Philippines to Luciano Ongkingco and Carmelita Valencia, she attended Philippine College of Commerce, and later Hostos Community College where she achieved her nursing degree. After over 25 years of dedicated nursing service, she retired from Bronx’s Lincoln Hospital.

Beloved wife to Muslichin, devoted mother to Carmine Nurdin and Christine Terhune, and cherished grandmother to Benjamin Terhune, Divina’s greatest joy was being with family and friends. Her unconditional love was displayed in her cooking, and she was often found infectiously laughing over a warm stove. Aside from her family, she is also survived by loving sisters, brother, aunts, nieces, and nephews.

The family will receive their friends on Tuesday, April 9 from 3-7PM at the Frank A. Patti and Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Home 327 Main Street, opposite the Fort Lee Public Library.  The funeral will leave Wednesday, April 10 at  10:30AM  for the celebration of her funeral mass in Madonna  R.C.     Ate Ebeng , as we call her, ( nickname of endearment. ) You will be sorely missed. I remember the year when we met when I first came to the US, we did a lot of shopping.
