Memories Timeline

  1. Big "D", thank you for being the best part of the Fire Department: Devotion, Unselfishness and Commitment to Service. I will miss you and am glad to know that now, you are at peace and without suffering any longer. Be well my friend! I will see you at the next "Big One"!!

    Dennis S.

  2. From Holy Rosary to Bergen Tech to the Fire Department I had many, many opportunities to create and share memories and laughs with you Donald

Your dedication to the service of others made the Department, the Borough, the Mutual Aid, and the world better for your presence.

Once a Chief, always a Chief. Rest in peace Chief!

    John R. Brophy

  3. My deepest sympathies to the Jackson family. I have many fond memories of Donald- he was the go to person for advise on installing doors, he was at Randal's Bar with Jackie Peters when my daughter was born- we had a toast together. Remembering all the Dinner Dances, Mutual Aid Picnic's, the Fires where Donald was either pumping or operating the ladder and just conversations together. He had an impact on many people. I along with many others will miss him but his reputation will always be there.

    Michael Cioffi

  4. To the Jackson Family, So sorry for the loss of Donald. I did not know him well. Just an hello and rode the school bus to Bergen Tech. He was a year behind me. I know growing up they were a nice family around the block. With sympathy, Kathleen Dame-Fierro & Family.

  5. Dear Donald,

We will miss your laugh, smile and hugs. Rest in peace our dear friend. Until we meet again….
    God Bless!
