De Simone, Frank, age 83, of Hackensack, on Monday February 1, 2016. Born and raised in East Harlem, NY. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Beloved husband of the late Rose (nee: Messina). Devoted father of Lisa Stapleton and her husband Robert, Angela Vaccaro and her husband Sam, Carla Reagan and the late Frank De Simone, Jr. Cherished grandfather of James and Tessa. The family will receive their friends on Thursday 4-8 pm at the Frank A. Patti and Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Home 327 Main Street "opposite the Fort Lee Library". The funeral will leave Friday at 9:00 AM for the celebration of his funeral mass in Madonna R.C. Church On The Hill at 09:30 AM.     Grandpa Frank was a good man. Even at 83, Frank was riding Bulls and running the pool table on New Years Eve. He will be greatly missed.

    I wish I had been there during that time. I missed saying good bye to him and it hurts my heart every day since I found out. I loved him dearly. He was such a good friend and conversationalist. I will miss the hours we talked.
