George J Farrell

Farrell, George, J, age 95, of Leonia, on Friday August 30, 2019. Beloved husband of the late Erma Farrell (nee. Pannone). Devoted father to Joyce Deen and her husband Kevin, and the late Nancy Lospinoso and her husband Robert. Cherished grandfather to Nicholas, Mariel, Joseph, Julie and Kerry. Loved brother to Pauline Johnson. He worked for Tiffany & Co. in NYC. He was a WWII veteran of the United States Army. After being discharge, he served as a commander of the American Legion, Post #1 in Leonia and member of the VFW Post #4365 in Palisades Park, having also served as treasurer for both. He served the parish of St. John’s in Leonia on both the Finance Committee and the Holy Name Society.

The family will receive their friends on Wednesday 4-8 PM at the Frank A. Patti and Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Home 327 Main Street “opposite the Fort Lee Library”. The funeral will leave Thursday at 9:30 AM for the celebration of his funeral mass in Saint John R.C. Church at 10:00 AM.
