Neumann, Harriet nee: Demetrakis, age 73, of Edgewater, formerly of Leonia, on October 8, 2015. She was born in Jersey City and was a Property Manager for Arilex Realty of Edgewater. Beloved wife of Harry Neumann. Devoted mother of Gregory Neumann and his wife Sandy and Douglas Neumann. Cherished grandmother of Andrew & Allison. Loving sister of James Demetrakis and his wife Joyce. The family will receive their friends on Sunday 3:00 – 7:00 PM at the Frank A. Patti and Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Home 327 Main Street “opposite the Fort Lee Library”. Funeral will be Private on Monday. Our deepest condolences to Harry, Greg, Douglas and all of Harriet's family. We hope you are comforted by the memories you have of Harriet as a loving and wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Rest in peace Harriet.
Hearing about Harriet has deeply saddened me but I will always remember the fond times I had with her, especially when I would be a guest at the Neumann Family Xmas gathering.
As soon as Harriet would arrive, she would sit beside me and generally never leave my side. She always radiated so much energy and warmth which is what I loved about her! She was a kind and loving person and I thank her for being part of my life.
I am truly sorry for your loss.
