Bergren, Helen, E. nee: Kovac, age 87, of Ramsey, formerly of Leonia, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 29, 2015, with her loving son and daughter at her side. Born in West New York, NJ, Helen was the only child of the late Louis and Elizabeth Kovac. Helen was the caring, compassionate, stable guiding force of her family. She was a 16-year volunteer for Valley Hospital of Ridgewood, a member of Ramsey Seniors, a former member of the Contemporaries of Leonia, a division of the Woman's Club. She will be missed dearly by all her family and friends. She was the beloved wife of the late Alfred W. Bergren, devoted mother of Alan Bergren and Nancy Livaich, cherished grandmother of Nicholas William, Alexandra Rose and Ian Matthew, and dearest mother-in-law of Shelley and Peter.   3. Our family had the privilege of knowing two of the best parents ever Helen and Al. We shared many Christmas Eves with Grandma Helen and Grandpa Al. Her Christmas cookies and egg nog will be missed but always remembered. We will lift our glass to them this Christmas Eve with the precious memories of the years past. I will forever have wonderful memories of growing up in your house with music playing by Helens favorite singer, watching tv upstairs and making fizzies in the back yard. You were so fortunate to have your loving Mom for as long as you did. I know we can all agree her life was a life well lived. Thinking of you tomorrow with love.
