Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. It was a pleasure to work with him. He was a great guy and a great cop. We had lots of good times together. I will never forget him. Lt. Paul H. Olson retired Leonia Police Dept.

  2. My heartfelt condolences go out to all of you. My father, Walter Klingner always spoke so highly of Hugh. I have many memories of my time spent at the Leonia Police Department with this amazing generation of police officers. Heaven has gained another member of the elite. Rest in peace Hughie. You will be missed.

  3. So very sorry, he was a great guy. A gentleman in every sense of the word. May he rest in peace.

  4. I am deeply sorry for your loss. He was a dear and cherished friend to my father, and our family. Please be assured of my prayers for him and your family.

  5. I was brought up by my grandmother, Agnes Gallagher, Hughie's mother. He may have been my uncle, but he felt more like a big brother. He use to refer to me as "his little sister who was always getting in the way." We lived in a three story house in Jackson Heights. Naturally, I was on the third floor and since Hughie was the youngest Gallagher in the family, he was there too! He contributed to my wonderful childhood as we grew up together and I will forever cherish these loving memories. Hughie loved his sons and his grandchildren. He was an outstanding family man. Sending healing prayers and comforting hugs to the Gallagher family.

  6. Dear Dad,

Our love to you …Goodbye for now Dad ..Miss you xoxo
    forever in our hearts
