Iole “Lee” C. Kubicki (nee: Framarin), 85, of Englewood Cliffs, NJ, formerly of Fairview, NJ, peacefully passed away on April 14, 2018 with her family at her side after a long illness.

Iole, daughter of the late Amerigo and Maria Framarin was born on October 9, 1932 in Fairview, NJ, along with her brother Remo Framarin, and sister, the late Velda Fazio.

Iole married the love of her life, Kenneth J. Kubicki in 1958 and soon thereafter settled in Englewood Cliffs, NJ where she raised 5 children. Devoted mother to Gail Anne Roberts and her husband Joe, Kenneth M. Kubicki and his wife Donna, Stephen Kubicki and his wife Nancy, Jill Kossove and her husband Bryan, and Tara Lee Cantatore and her husband Mauro.

She was very proud of her family and was excited to be the “Grandma” to Michael and Matthew Roberts, Kyle and Anna Kubicki, Laura, Stephen, and Scott Kubicki, Elliot and Ashley Kossove, Joseph, Julia, and Andrew Cantatore, Edward and Jessica Wrixon, and loving aunt of many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

After graduating from Cliffside Park High School in 1950, Iole graduated from the Manhattan Dental Assistants’ School as a Dental Assistant. A former Executive Secretary to the Chief Engineer at Bendix Aviation, Proof Reader at Prudent Publishing, and Contracts Service Manager at Computerland, Iole was always a dedicated and hard worker.

Iole was an accomplished artist in ceramics and loved gardening, sewing and settling down to read a good book. Later in life, Iole was a member of the Holy Trinity, Fort Lee, Rosary Society and a member of the Englewood Cliffs Seniors. She will be missed by those that truly knew and loved her.

Family and friends will gather at the Frank Patti Funeral Home, 327 Main Street, Fort Lee, NJ, on Tuesday, April 17 for Visitation from 3 – 5 pm and 7 – 9 pm. A funeral mass will be held at Holy Trinity, Fort Lee, NJ on Wednesday, April 18 at 10 am. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories at 300 Soldier Hill Road, Township of Washington, NJ.

  2. Having known Iole most of my life, I knew her to be a strong, kind, devoted and loving mother and wife. Family was truly her life. Although she has left this world to walk beside our Lord, many wonderful memories will remain with you forever in that special place of your heart.
