Severino, Janet F. (nee: Allen) age 70, of Palisades Park, passed peacefully on March 21, 2023. Raised in Bergenfield, she was a graduate of Bergenfield High School and worked as an Assistant Manager in Howard Bank of Palisades Park before becoming the office Manager of Stateline Construction of Sloatsburg, NY. An animal lover at heart, she had an interest in feeding the local strays and loved bird watching. She always had an open door and was happy when people just stopped in to talk.

Beloved wife of 49 years to Peter Severino. Devoted mother of Deanna Boyce and her husband Thomas and the late P.J. Severino. Cherished grandmother of Peter J. and his wife Maria, Aiden, Jude and Madison. Dear sister of Jeannie Allison and her late husband “Skip”. Loving aunt of many nieces and nephews, a friend to all, she will be truly missed.

The family will receive their friends on Saturday from 2-6 pm with a prayer service in the funeral home at 5:30 pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.

    My friend, my go to person in my hour of need, most of all my confident, I could tell you anything. Ja you where always there for me even when you didn't want to be, you would sucked it up and to help me. I will always remember how you help me with the businesses, we work many years side by side and would have never been able to accomplished what I did without your steady hand, keeping the ship afloat!!
    THANK YOU for being there for me, even when I didn't show it, I new what you where doing. My Dad was right when he told me:
