  14. We bonded over years of soccer and software ball games that our daughter's participated in; we were the quintessential soccer/softball dads.

I remember our last conversation in the gymnasium of the Leonia prom, sharing our daughter's college plans and commiserating over sending them off to the next chapter of their lives -and how little we might see them.

To Alicia and the girls: he was a kind and special man. A friend to me and my family. He will be soooo missed.

    Our heartfelt condolences.

  18. My heartfelt condolence to Alicia and to her lovely girls, Julia and Anna, whose graduation Jon was able to attend. To Crissa and Michael and their families, and to Jon's mother Carol, each of whom mourn much too soon, my caring thoughts.
Jon was an old soul, full of love and compassion. He saved a little Robin bird threatened by a voracious cat at an outdoor wedding, albeit with appropriate hue and cry. Jon will be loved and remembered by all who knew him.

  19. Bob and I send our deepest condolences to all of Jon's family, whom I've known since Jon was two. Jon stayed with us for a time many years ago and he vouched for our Greek restaurant in Chicago. He was a deeply sensitive, caring, lovable person and will be mourned more than one can imagine.
