Joseph ‘Joe’ Fernando Cano
Born on August 12, 1969, in the beautiful city of Madrid, Spain, Joseph ‘Joe’ Fernando Cano moved to the United States with a dream and a vision. On May 27, 2024, Joe went home to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Joe was my beloved, my husband, and my best friend. He was an amazing provider to our three children: Alexis, Joey, and Sophia. I vow to keep his wisdom; guidance and his love ever present in our lives. Joe is also survived by his mother, Judith, and brothers: Charles and Pete, his loving in-laws, nieces, nephews, and countless friends. His expressions of love through his generosity will be cherished in each of us and remembered forever.
As the founder and owner of American GlassCrafters, Joe turned his dream into reality, building a legacy that will continue to inspire and thrive. His passion, dedication, and hard work made a lasting impact on all who knew him.
Joe’s life will be celebrated on Sunday, June 9, 2024, at Frank Patti from 3-7 PM, where we will gather to honor his life. On Monday, June 10, 2024, at 12:30 PM, he will be laid to rest at George Washington Memorial Park. While our hearts ache with his passing, we take comfort in knowing that Joe is now in perfect peace resting at the right hand of our Heavenly Father.
Joe’s remarkable spirit and genuine love will forever remain in our hearts. Though his absence is profoundly felt, his enduring example of devotion, compassion, and dedication continues to inspire all of us who were blessed to know him.
Those who would like to donate in Joe’s name, the family request donations be made to Victory A Church of His Presence. Below is the link or mail in address.

you are more than just a Friend to me/us, You were also my Family, Brother, Mentor, Hero, Companion, Partner, Rock, Inspiration, and so much more…. There aren’t enough words to describe what you meant to me and so many others. You impacted SO MANY LIVES in such a positive way and helped so many people. You have the most generous, unselfish and BIGGEST HEART I know, and have taught me so much.
You are definitely one of a kind and they broke the mold when you arrived 🙂 There is so much to say about the good you and what you have done in life, to make your family proud of you, as we all are, but your actions spoke wonders and showed everyone the good person you are.
I can’t imagine my life growing up without you, boring for sure, but I do know this, I am who I am because of you and my dad, who is also very proud of all that you have done and become in life. You were part of our FAMILY!! XOXO

So devastated to hear the truly sad news. Joe has always been a generous and kind hearted man. If Kevin was writing this he would be commenting except the time he took his spare change to feed Bear Chinese food when they were living together. In all seriousness we both deeply loved Joe, he opened his home to us and gave us so many wonderful memories and experiences, that I will continue to cherish. I will miss not having the opportunity to see him smile when I accidentally run into him at Sangria.
Lexi, Joey, Sophia
You have a wonderful father who will continue to be with you smiling down from the heavens above as you continue to make him proud in the days and years ahead.
Love and Hugs,
Lisa Morris

My dear Annie, aunt and cousins.
I wanted to express our deepest regret for the loss of our beloved José. We would like to accompany you in this sad moment and tell you that we support you from afar. He was a very special cousin and a human being with sensitivity and an incredible ability to help whoever needed it. We are witnesses that it changed many lives for the better and left an important legacy to inspire others to be more human and better people. We remember you with special affection and we have you in our prayers to fill you with strength at this time. We send you a big hug from Venezuela and all our love. Cristina and family.

Hi Annie. I am so sorry for the loss of Joe to you and the family. I am a friend of Joe, and I used to fish together with Joe and your son here in NJ. So sorry I could not pay my respects in person, as I had a family obligation on Sunday. You and I met once, on a fishing trip one day, with you and a relative from England I believe. More recently we were trying to get together for lunch this February in Sarasota when I was down there for a wedding, but unfortunately I believe your daughter got Covid that morning. Again, I am so sorry. Joe was such a kind and wonderful person, and gone way too soon.
