Guestbook

  1. Karl was a wonderful person and a genuine salt of the earth guy. One of the best people and nicest in all of Fort Lee. I and many others will sorely miss his smile and kind words. I feel fortunate to have spent about a half hour less than a week ago with Karl as we talked about his retirement and his planned travels. My condolences to all of his family and their loss is truly our loss.

  2. My deepest sympathies to the Caccavone family. Karl was truly loved by all who really took the time to know him and will surely be missed. God Bless

  3. My deepest sympathy to the family. I have known Carl many many years. We hung out as a group in our youth, Carl, Tony, me, Lillian De Rose, Mary G, and others. He was a kind soul and I loved hit wit! How he use to tease me, I will always remember, I made him laugh and he made me laugh even harder. A good person that will be missed!!! Been to your home many times, as he has been to mine! Good memories! God Bless.

  4. Dear Mr. C & Bruce..so sorry to hear about Karl..he was so young. Great friend we had many a good time back in the old days with Lucille & Lil hanging at firemans park!! would run into him from time to time in fort lee he will be missed!! "Only the good die young"" . So sorry for your loss.

  5. Dear Bruce and Mr. C,
I am so sorry for your loss. Please accept my condolences and know that Karl will always be watching over you. Forever in your hearts . . .

  6. No words can express the loss the Borough of Fort Lee and friends feel of Karl's passing. He had the best smile that could light up a room…and was taken too soon from this world. He will not be forgotten.

  7. We are so sorry to hear of Karl's passing. We have been neighbors on Slocum Way for 42 years and knew the entire family well. Sending our deepest condolences, love, and prayers to the family.

    Barbara, Jerry, Lisa, Jeri Ann

  8. We talked in passing every time we saw each other, but after a few minutes you covered all the bases. Always asking how Liz was doing during and after her treatments, and always remembering small details…the last time we spoke you knew my retirement countdown better than I did. I am so sorry…..Karl will be missed around town, a true fixture around the borough.

  9. My deepest sympathies and condolences to the Caccavone family. I just heard of this very sad news…..

  10. No words just hugs for Bruce, Augie, and all our friends who we have shared through the years.
I have many fond memories, hanging in Fireman's park, Bergenfeild, and on Tom Humter Rd. Karl's sense of humor remains with me.
See you on the other side!!!!!

  11. Carl was a long time dear friend from when we were little. Always so kind to my family and me. I am so sorry he was taken so young in life. He had so much more to give to the world. May he rest in peace.

  12. Our sincere condolences to the Caccavone family. Though we lost touch over the years, Mark and I have very fond memories of Karl during the Pioneer years. May he rest peacefully in the arms of the Lord.

  13. My heartfelt warmth to your hearts. Karl was an amazing soul! Bruce, be in touch if you want. Big Hugs ♥

  14. We wanted to express our deepest condolences. Unfortunately, we will be out of town and will not be able to attend the wake/funeral. Karl will be missed greatly.

  15. I have known Brother Karl since 1988. Great friend and like a brother. We would always open our phone conversations with "Brother Karl it's Brother Don" and vice versa. We would talk about everything from which Merot was the best value to where the best tuna fishing was to which hirse had the best shot of winning the Kentucky Derby. Karl was an expert on all those areas. Also on what allergy spray was best for hay fevor to which Nite club had the toughest bouncers. But most of all he was an expert as to being a great friend to me, my family and my dog Symone who he loved dearly. My problems were his problems and he would make certain that he did everything he could to solve them. He was a guy who knew a lot about a lot of things. But his greatest virtue was knowing how to be a wonderful and caring and great friend. I will remember him forever. Rest in Peace Brother Karl. It's Brothet Don. Love ya.

  16. My deepest sympathy! I just spoke with Karl a few weeks ago, and had a great conversation with him. Karl you were a fantastic neighbor and most of all a fantastic friend. Glad that we have shared so many wonderful times together along with your Louis. Will miss you terribly. Brigitte
