  1. The Manna family grew up in the northeast Bronx. We lived on top of the bakery and the back of the apartment opened up onto an enormous porch. Lou and my sister, Ersilia, were teenagers at the time. One day Lou came for a visit. My dad decided to go out onto the porch to see what Lou was up to when he saw Lou hoisting something from below with all his might. When he looked down, low and behold, it was Ersilia! Well, as usual, Lou took the wrath of his anger when, in fact, it was Ersilia who convinced him to do it! Lou’s kind nature will surely be missed. RIP, cous.

  2. Our Love and Prayers are with you. Eileen and your family. Louie was the best. Much love and respect to a great guy

  3. Our deepest sympathy to Eileen & family. From one hell's kitchen guy to another you will never be forgotten. Sincerely, Tommy & Joanie
