Obituary of Maria A. Gadioma

Maria Achacoso Gadioma, age 94, of Riverdale, Bronx has peacefully joined our Creator and her beloved husband, Demosthenes B. Gadioma on Wednesday, January 13, 2021. She was a loving mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great grandmother, and aunt.

Maria was an inspiration and loving example to so many whose lives she touched. Her love of family was her greatest legacy. She believed in the power of prayers. She reminded everyone to turn to their faith at all times. She was a true role model.

  1. Dear Gadioma Family Members,

My sincere condolences on the passing of Maria. Although you will miss her, she is now enjoying her Heavenly reward after a life well lived. She was a very faithful and loving person. I've only met her once or twice, but have heard nothing but good things about her. Peace,

    Chris Magan (Robert Lopena's sister)

  2. Dear Gadioma Cousins, just like all of you, we will truly miss Auntie Mariet’s physical presence in our lives. She has been our inspiration in many ways from her spiritual strength, love of family, mental alertness to the very end and her genuine love and concern for each and every one of us. Her presence in all our family affairs, from weddings, birthdays, baptisms, Sto Rosario and every gathering will be missed so much by us. Our deepest sympathies in your loss of an extraordinary woman whom you call Mom and Auntie, Lola to us. We love you all. Butch, Olga, Ralph, Akiko, Ollie, Ann, Raymond ,Camille, RB, Brenda and Luca.
