Bouzotas, Mary, nee:Siomkos, age 102, of Fort Lee, on Saturday March 5, 2016. Born in New York City she was a self-employed Fur Finisher. She was a life-long member who served on the Board of the Benevolent Society Ladies of Kastoria. Her determination was paramount hiking the Delaware Water Gap at the age of 85 (in a dress and casual shoes). Fondly referred to as Yiayia. Beloved wife of the late Harry Bouzotas. Devoted mother of Arthur Boujotas and Alexandra Soumilas. Cherished grandmother of Peter, John, Theo, Mary, and Manny. Adored great grandmother of Christopher, Peter, Joey, and Ian,. The family will receive their friends on Wednesday 3-5 & 7-9 pm at the Frank A. Patti and Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Home 327 Main Street "opposite the Fort Lee Library". The funeral will leave Thursday at 9:50 AM for religious services in St. John The Theologian Greek Orthodox Cathedral at 10:30 AM. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Benevolent Society Ladies of Kastoria or your favorite charity.

  3. Dearest Alex, Nick, John , Theo, Mary, Manny, & Uncle Arthur.. So sorry for the loss of your Mother, & Our Yiayia. I feel like she was my YiaYis too. We loved her like she was part of us too.   5. The loss of a loved one leaves a void that can only be filled with memories and love. Just keep those happy memories and celebrate her life. Yaiyai was a strong and vibrant lady. She will be missed by all.

  6. Alex, Nick, John, Theo, Uncle Arthur, Mary, and Manny. We are deeply saddened by the passing of YaiYai. We will always remember the "sweet girl" fondly. We are especially lucky that we had the pleasure of knowing her and were able to call her our YaiYai as well. She will be very missed.

May God almighty, father of tender mercies and all comfort continue to strengthen you all (2 Corinthians 1:3,4).
