October 8, 1964 ~ September 2, 2018

Dr. Michael Myint Thein Yoe was born on October 8, 1964, in Yangon Myanmar, son of Kying Taik Yoe and (Daw Lay Soo). He was the fourth child and second son in his family of ten siblings.

In 1990 he graduated from the Institute of Medicine (2), Yangon, Myanmar. He practiced medicine in Myanmar for a few years before immigrated to the United States in the early 2000s and completed his residency at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center and Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center.

With his training completed, he moved to Florida where he served as a Hospitalist over 10 years. Not just a doctor, Michael was a man of generosity and faithfulness and will be remembered for his fondness of music and cooking.

He is survived by his father, Kying Taik Yoe, his six brothers, Joseph, Arthur, Linus, James, Stephen and Terrence, his three sisters, Tina, Lily, and Tracy. He is also survived by his five sisters in law who have been a source of support and kindness over the years. He will be fondly remembered as the beloved Uncle Mike for Alex, Christine, Isaac, Grace, Emily, Hillary and Vincent.

A good son, a good brother and a loyal friend, Michael will be dearly missed and will never be forgotten.
