Zarrella, Rafaelle, "Ralph", age 84, of Fort Lee, formerly of Union City, NJ, on Monday August 26, 2019. Born in Chianchetelle, Italy he immigrated to the United States in the 1950's. He was a proud Veteran of the U.S. Army. He was an extremely talented master carpenter and was the owner of Ralph's Home Improvements of Fort Lee. He was a Parishioner of St. Nicholas R.C. Church. Beloved husband of the late Josephine (nee: Szczepaniak). Devoted father of Leonard Zarrella and his wife Marie Ann, Rosemarie Polemeni and her husband David, Maureen Graniero, Lisa Karlich and her husband Anthony. Adored Peepa of Christian, Lenny, Alec, Jonathan, Isabella, Haley, Hunter, Aidan, and Madison. He was Co-founder of this Italian Charity: (with his Paisans), Banchetto Annuale, Degli Orundi di, Chianche e chianchetelle. The family will receive their friends on Wednesday 3-5 & 7-9 pm at the Frank A. Patti and Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Home 327 Main Street "opposite the Fort Lee Library". The funeral will leave Thursday at 10:30 am for the celebration of his funeral mass in St. Nicholas R.C. Church at 11:00 AM. If so desired donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
