Ramona was a dear friend and neighbor to my family. I met her long before she and Pete moved to W. Central Blvd from behind the famed Palisades Park Bakery. I immediately liked her. She had a cheery smile and always welcomed me and my Mom, Jean Moretti, whenever we stopped by. And there were so many early mornings when I'd come downstairs as a young girl to be greeted by Ramona who stopped by for a visit with my Mom and a cup of tea
Her boys went to St. Michael's as did little Ramona and my sister Mary Jean. I have so many memories of dear Ramona. She even visited when she vacationed with Pete in Las Vegas. My sister, my son, John, and I dropped in on Ramona a little over 5 1/2 years ago. Ramona was as hospitable as ever. She looked great and in our conversation, she was sharp as a tack! I've been in touch with Marco via Facebook for several years. He kept me up on how Ramona was doing. I am saddened by her passing but cherish the many memories of our shared lives.
Sending you my condolences and sorry to hear about your loss. God Bless.
So so sorry about your mom
