  3. Ramona was a dear friend and neighbor to my family. I met her long before she and Pete moved to W. Central Blvd from behind the famed Palisades Park Bakery. I immediately liked her. She had a cheery smile and always welcomed me and my Mom, Jean Moretti, whenever we stopped by. And there were so many early mornings when I'd come downstairs as a young girl to be greeted by Ramona who stopped by for a visit with my Mom and a cup of tea
Her boys went to St. Michael's as did little Ramona and my sister Mary Jean. I have so many memories of dear Ramona. She even visited when she vacationed with Pete in Las Vegas. My sister, my son, John, and I dropped in on Ramona a little over 5 1/2 years ago. Ramona was as hospitable as ever. She looked great and in our conversation, she was sharp as a tack! I've been in touch with Marco via Facebook for several years. He kept me up on how Ramona was doing. I am saddened by her passing but cherish the many memories of our shared lives.
