McCabe, Richard, F., age 89, of Fort Lee, passed on Monday March 1, 2021. Born in Rivervale, NJ, he was a proud Army Veteran of the Korean War. Rich started his career in Alcoa Corp and then worked for Ford Motor Company in Mahwah before joining his family in the dry cleaning busines. After retirement he worked as a Custodian for the Midland Park School System. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed family time in Lavallette, NJ.

He was the beloved husband of 62 years to the late Rose M. McCabe (nee: Neshan). Devoted father of Doreen, Richard, Brian and Keith McCabe. Cherished Pop-Pop of Stephanie. Dear brother of Helen McNamara and her husband Harvey and the late Dorothy Guadagno and Eugene McCabe. Beloved father in law to Michael Kineman. Adored companion of “Bella and Razor”.

The family will receive their friends on Friday 4-7 pm at the Frank A. Patti and Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Home 327 Main Street “opposite the Fort Lee Library”. The funeral will leave Saturday at 10:30 am for the celebration of his funeral mass in Madonna R.C. Church at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
