Quinton, Richard T., "Dick" age 78, of Leonia, on April 6, 2016. He was born in Jersey City, NJ and served his country proudly in the United States Marine Corp. He retired as a Sergeant for the Leonia Police Department and was a member of PBA Locals 86 & 381. He was an active member of the Leonia Volunteer Fire Department for over 40 years and served as a past President and Treasurer of Leonia Volunteer Company #1 and was the recipient of the "Chief Donald D. Chace Honorary Chief Award" and was awarded the Knights of Columbus "Shield Award". He belonged to the NJ State Exempt Fireman's Association. Beloved husband of the late Barbara (nee: Chace). Devoted father of Richard Quinton, Jr. and his wife Laura, Thomas Quinton and his wife Tania, and Debra Wright and her husband Dwayne. Cherished grandfather of Stephanie, Thomas Jr., Kristyn, Taylor, Amanda, Michael, Dylan, Chace, and Avaleigh. Dear brother of Eileen Schlemm, Mary Cordano and the late Edward Quinton. Adored brother-in-law of Katherine Chace, Susan and Kenny Smith, Stanley Chace, Ronald and Maryann Chace, Ginger and the late Donald Chace and the late Robert Chace. The family will receive their friends on Sunday 2 -7 pm at the Frank A. Patti and Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Home 327 Main Street "opposite the Fort Lee Library". The funeral will leave at 10:30 am for the celebration of his funeral mass Monday in St. John R. C. Church at 11:00 am.   14. Dear Ritchie, Debbie, Tommy and all the Quinton/Chace Family Members,
    I just heard about your Dad's passing, and I am so sorry for your loss. Uncle Dick and your Mom always treated me like family from the time we were all in diapers together.
    Please know I will keep you all in my prayers. My heart always smiles when I think about us all growing up in Leonia and as families of LPD and LVFD.
