Carathanassis, Rosemarie, C. nee: Alberti, of Englewood, on October 12, 2016. She was born in Brooklyn and lived her life as a loving wife and mother. Beloved wife of Mani Carathanassis for 50 years. Devoted mother of Stacy Carathanassis and her fiancé Jim Orliw, and Christina Carathanassis. Cherished sister of Nina Manuele and pre-deceased by 11 brothers and sisters. Loving aunt of many nieces and nephews. Forever grateful for dear companion and care giver Donna Bristol. Rosemarie loved her family very deeply, and could often be found passing her time making flower arrangements and visiting Montauk, NY. The family will receive their friends on Friday 4:00 – 8:00 pm at the Frank A. Patti and Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Home 327 Main Street "opposite the Fort Lee Library". The funeral will leave Saturday at 9:15 AM for the celebration of her funeral mass in St. John R. C. Church (Leonia) at 9:45 AM. Stacy and family, I so wish I could be with you during this difficult time. You have been in my thoughts and prayers. Stacy, your mom was a beautiful woman inside and out, and nothing can prepare you for such a devastating loss. Please try to take comfort in knowing that she is at peace with our Lord, and even though you may have lost her here on this earth, you now have an angel looking over you from heaven.

Mr. C, Stacy and Christina: I'm so sorry and sad about Rosemarie. I know she had a difficult journey these last few years, but she had an amazing family and your unconditional love. That is truly a blessing. She was lucky to have all of you and you were lucky to have her in your lives.
