Roy was a brilliant, kind, gentle, caring and wonderful man. His careful listening, his creative solutions, his compassion for clients, friends, family and strangers was natural for him, a true gem. He was always welcoming when those of us that relied on him needed to talk, listening patiently to our concerns while crafting his plan to solve each problem. Helping others was his joy, and holding the hopes of those needing guidance were his priorities. A true saint, this gentle, brilliant, kind soul. He will be missed greatly. But there is joy in knowing without a doubt that Roy is safe in the gates of Heaven. As our Lord would say “Well done, good and faithful servant! Enter the gates of Paradise”. Amen. Much love, Lorraine Seidel
Roy was a husband, father, brother, uncle, attorney, arbitrator and mediator and of course, a Samurai. I am blessed and grateful to have had him in my life as he was the true definition of what a father should be. He was caring, kind, sweet and always there when you needed him…always giving big hugs. Words cannot begin to express how much you will be missed or how much you were loved. Thank you for being you. Love you Roy…to the moon and back. Mich

May you rest internal peace, and
May God hold you in this heart eternally

Roy was always very kind and caring. We didn’t spend much time together but when we did he was so loving and gentle and always embraced me as family. I’m so sad to hear this news and he will be truly missed. May he rest in eternal peace❤️
Such a gentle soul. May his soul sleep in peace and eternal light shine upon him.
Uncle Roy was a true gentleman. I loved our conversations and will always remember his warm smile always. My heart felt condolences to my Aunt Janice and my cousin Michelle . I Love you both.
Roy never forgot what justice means.
Roy was such a delightful and intelligent man. Kind, gentle and always willing to help where and when he could. Thank you so much for the kind words and shared recipes. May you rest in eternal peace, you will be missed.
What a gentleman. Roy was a wealth of knowledge. He was our Mr “M”… a gentle soul and a great teacher. When he spoke you were compelled to listen and if you did not it would be your loss. I remember introducing my mom to Roy. At the time she was 99. She finally found someone’s who could understand and appreciate her love for Tai-chi. I thought she would never stop (cheesing/giggling/smiling). It was like she was a kid trying to impress her teacher with her stories of tournaments, trophies and belts. Roy was that person! Always warm welcomes, adventurous stories, ever so caring and you knew you were greatly appreciated. All you had to do was listen and learn. He will be in our hearts and memories forever. Until we see you again…
For Roy, a kind and gentle soul.
During your journey on your final flight home.
White wings will carry you and you will be flown.
To the pearly gates of Heaven, where they will usher you in.
To the feet of your Lord, your Saviour, and your friend.
He will hold you in his arms and the angels will sing.
As another one of His children is delivered by white wings.
Roy was a very special individual. He will be missed and remembered as a wonderful man. He was generous and thoughtful. I will remember his funny sense of humor, his laugh and the hours of conversations just sitting talking about everything. Roy you have been given your wings. Rest in peace now with the rest of the angels.
We will always have the best memories of our dear friend Roy. While we haven’t seen him for the last few years, we always had him in our minds, heart and even the tip of our tongues. Wonderful conversations and delicious meals and great holidays were spent together and we will miss him. He was part of our family and dearly loved. May he rest in eternal peace. Roy truly knew how to live richly and well. He had a real gift for friendship; relished his works and his days; was principled, honorable, and kind. Through his efforts he left the world a better place than he found it.
