De Lorenzo, Theresa, (nee: Beatrice) age 79, of Dumont, passed peacefully on July 16, 2023. Born in Brooklyn, she moved to NJ after being married to raise her family. She worked at various jobs throughout her life while still being a full time mother, wife and homemaker.
Beloved husband of 56 years to Albert De Lorenzo. Devoted mother of Corinne Iavarone and her husband Billy and Theresa Patti and her husband Frank. Cherished grandmother of Robert Castella, III and his wife Samantha, Danielle, Samantha and Frank Patti.
The family will receive their friends on Wedensday from 3-7 pm at the Frank Patti and Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Home 327 Main Street "opposite the Fort Lee Library". The funeral will leave on Thursday at 9:30 am for the celebration her funeral mass in the main Church of the Madonna at 10 am. Interment to follow at George Washington Memorial Park. Theresa and Al were not only my neighbors growing up, but my parents best friends as well. The countless vacations we took together to the GlenFalls house, the Jersey shore and even Disney World in Florida are memories I'll never forget. May God Bless you all during this very difficult time. May Theresa Rest In Peace.
So saddened by this..she was so kind and loving to me every time I came to visit my Jersey family…Prayers of comfort for the family!
