Conklin, Viola M. nee: Paci, age 98, of Edgewater, on October 25, 2017. She was born in New York, NY and was a homemaker. Beloved wife of the late James E. Conklin. Devoted mother of James J. Conklin and his wife Martha, and the late Robert P. Conklin and his wife Barbara. Loving sister of the late Ruth Paci, Muriel Paci and Dorothy Kazanjian. Dear aunt of Ronald Suter and his wife Judy. The family will receive their friends on Friday 3:00 – 7:00 PM at the Frank A. Patti and Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Home 327 Main Street "opposite the Fort Lee Library". The funeral will leave Saturday at 8:30 AM for the celebration of her funeral mass in Holy Rosary R. C Church at 9:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Holy Rosary R.C Church. For all of us who knew and loved her, you will understand that if our Lord decided to place an angel among us, it was Mom. She was such a classy lady, full of love, faith and devotion. She so loved her family, her faith and her church. Mom always put things in perspective, always striving for the best, keeping a positive attitude all centered around love and understanding. Our world would be a much better place if there were more people like her. For condolences, directions, or information or call (201) 944-0100 or www.frankpatti.com

  1. Jim, Martha and family,
We were sorry to read of your precious Mother's passing but so happy that you had her love and guidance for all these years. To come to the end of your life at age 98 so loved by so many is a wonderful blessing and in her case, so well deserved. In all my 81 years, I can't think of a kinder, gentler lady than Viola. My mother adored her and we always spoke of her with fond memories of fun times that we spent together when I was a young girl. Now your Dad has his soulmate again by his side after so many years. I am sorry that we will not be able to attend her wake or funeral but please know that she will certainly be in our prayers those days. Our love to all the family.

  2. Jimmy and Conklin and Paci Family,

Your good and kind words said it well about your Mom .. She has a true and loving heart.

She was a neighbor; some one to trust and take example.

    Truly,

    Peter & Mary
