Busch, William, J., Jr. "Bill" age 67, a lifelong resident of Palisades Park, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Wednesday, June 21, 2023. The youngest child of the late William and Alice Busch. Bill worked for most of his life as a Machinist until he retired from Glebar Company of Ramsey. He was active in his hometown as a Volunteer Firefighter of the Palisades Park Fire Department. Bill was known for lending a helping hand wherever needed. He was an avid fisherman, loved a good book, and enjoyed his time spent with family.

Beloved husband of 44 years to Joan (nee Dietrich). Devoted father of Laura Busch and her husband Bill Diamantopoulos, Katie McArdle and her husband Jimmy, and Lisa Ertel and her husband Jacob. Cherished Pop-Pop of Tyler, Molly, Callie, Henry and Charles. Dear brother of Candace Phillips and Deborah Lockwood. Adored uncle of many nieces, great-nieces and great-nephews. He will truly be missed.

The family will receive their friends on Monday 4-8 pm at the Frank A. Patti and Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Home 327 Main Street "opposite the Fort Lee Library." Services will be held Tuesday at 10 am in the funeral home followed by interment at George Washington Memorial Park. If so desired, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
