Yolanda Bucich, age 82 of River Vale formerly a 50 year resident of Fort Lee. Born in Italy, she attended a boarding school in Rome for orphaned children as her father was killed during the war. She immigrated with her family to the United States in 1955. She studied interior design at the Fashion Institute of Technology and worked as a bookkeeper while residing in New York City, where she met her beloved husband the Late Anthony Bucich. The couple married in 1964 and began to raise their family in Fort Lee. Yolanda spent her younger married years taking care of her in-laws and of course her children. In later years, Yolanda worked as a Career Counselor for Fort Lee High School before retiring in the mid 1990’s. Yolanda will be fondly remembered for her dedication to her family. She loved to cook and bake for her grandchildren even when she didn’t feel good. Yolanda and Anthony cherished moments entertaining family and friends. Yolanda’s spirituality was shown through her way of life and is a blessing to us all.
