Anthony J De Martino

Anthony Joseph DeMartino, 95 of Fort Lee died peacefully in his home on April 7, 2023. Anthony proudly served his country in the Navy as a Hospital Corpsman/ Pharmacy Mate. He was a proud recipient of the World War 2 Victory Medal.

He married Bernadette Toner on November 21, 1955, in Virginia. Together they raised their three children Anthony (Joanne), Margaret (Rob) and Diane (Philip) in Oradell, N.J. Anthony was predeceased by his wife, Bernadette November 1977.

Beloved Grandfather of 6, Patricia Pirozzi Pierotti, Danielle Pirozzi, Deirdre Pirozzi, Justin DeMartino, Allison Jirouschek Thompson, and Robyn Jirouschek.

Anthony worked for over 30 years as an assembler at Bendix, (Allied Signal) in Teterboro, New Jersey and a second career at All American Ford in Hackensack, New Jersey.

Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday, April 17, 2023 at 10:30 A.M. at Madonna Roman Catholic Chapel on 2070 Hoefleys Lane, Fort Lee, N.J. with burial following the Mass at the chapel cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Richard A. Nest Adult Activity Center, also known as the Fort Lee Senior Center would be greatly appreciated.
