Antonietta Tavaglione

Tavaglione, Antonietta, nee:Vecera, age 78, of Fort Lee, on Sunday February 3, 2019. Born in Peschici, Italy and came to the United States in 1963. She was the “Mama” of Mama’s Bagels of Fort Lee. She was happiest when people were enjoying her cooking. Beloved wife of Nicola Tavaglione. Devoted mother of John and Nicky. Cherished grandmother of Nicholas, Vanessa, Christian and Michael. Dear sister Lina Vecera and the late Vinnie Vecera. The family will receive their friends on Thursday 4-8 pm at the Frank A. Patti and Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Home 327 Main Street “opposite the Fort Lee Library”. The funeral will leave Friday at 10:30 am for the celebration of her funeral mass in Madonna R.C. Church On The Hill at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to charities promoting Parkinson’s Research.
