Argelia M. Gonzalez

Argelia Alfonso de Gonzalez, age 98, passed away peacefully in her sleep on June 24, 2020.
She was born on January 1, 1922 in Esperanza, Las Villas, Cuba. Her parents were Manuel Alfonso y María Machado. She had six siblings, the youngest was Evelio, who passed away on April 2, 2020.

Argelia was married to Alfonso Gonzalez who preceded her death in the year 2000. Both emigrated from communist Cuba in 1962, together with their two children. Argelia is survived by her daughter Dr Rosa Gonzalez, son Carlos González and her daughter in law Dr Teresa Suarez, her grandchildren Dr Lenis Gonzalez and Andrew Steinberg, and Adriel and Candace Gonzalez. She had a total of four great grandchildren, Camellia, Gracyn, Theo and Luca. She is survived as well by her niece Nury Alfonso, her nephews Guillermo Alfonso and Tito Aguilera.
