Catherine Hubert

Hubert, Catherine (Laski) of Palisades Park, NJ. Kay passed away peacefully under the attention of the caring staff at Van Dyk Manor in Ridgewood, NJ on February 21, 2017, two weeks before her 100th birthday. She was born in Brooklyn, NY, raised in Jersey City, NJ and lived in Palisades Park, NJ for 74 years. She will be remembered as a kind, loving and gentle woman who always put her family first. Kay was predeceased by her husband, Frank, her son, Frank, her grandson, Nicholas Hubert, and her brother, John Laski. She is survived by her daughter Lynn Karlson and her son Joseph (Corliss) Hubert; her grandchildren Zachary (Lauren) Hubert, Christopher (Inessa) Hubert, Gustaf (Kerry) Karlson, Susannah (Erik) O'Donnell, and Eric Karlson; and her great-grandchildren Charlotte, Karalyn, Jyana and Jacob. She was a P.T.A. President, C.C.D. teacher, member of the Rosary Society, Den Mother and President of the Mother's Auxiliary of the Palisades Park Little League. She worked at Prentice Hall for 20 years. There will be a gathering at the Frank A. Patti and Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Home, 327 Main Street, Fort Lee on Friday, March 3, from 4 to 8 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, March 4, at 12 PM at St. Michael's Church in Palisades Park. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box15829, Arlington, VA 22215.
