David Anthony Palmadessa

It is with profound sadness that we announce the tragic passing of our beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and nephew, David Anthony Palmadessa, age 44, of Little Ferry, on January 17th, 2025. A devoted husband and cherished father who left us far too soon. His unwavering love for his family was undeniable and his most special moments were when he spent time with them. He was always present in the lives of his children. He was there for every practice, game, and milestone. He made it his life’s mission to be there for his family. 

David grew up in Ridgefield, NJ, went on to receive his bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University and his masters in business from William Paterson University. He was the proud and dedicated owner of United City Ice, a fourth generational family business in New York City. 

He has been an integral part and committed member of his community and a cherished friend to those who were fortunate enough to call him one. David had such deep compassion and would stop at nothing to help anyone he could. 

Beloved husband of his high school sweetheart Arlene (nee: Boghossian). Devoted father of Michael and Christopher. Cherished son of Salvina and the late Donald Palmadessa.  Loving son-in-law to Abraham and Nina Boghossian. Dear brother of Elisa Sweeny & her husband John, Donald Palmadessa, Jr.  and the late Michael Palmadessa. Adored brother-in-law of Bruno & Taline Romeo and Paul & Robin Marino.  Loving uncle of Isabella, Anthony, Riley, Quinn, Eliana, and Joseph. 

His legacy lives on with all the beautiful memories he created and the love he generously shared. 

All are asked to assemble on Wednesday, January 22nd at 10am at St. Matthews RC Church (Ridgefield, NJ) for the celebration of his funeral mass. Entombment to follow at Madonna Mausoleum (Fort Lee, NJ).
