Dina Lionetto

Lionetto, Davidina, nee: Pasi, age 95, a lifelong resident of Fort Lee, passed peacefully on Friday June 14, 2024. Born September 9 ,1928 in Godenzo, Italy. She came to the United States with her mother at the age of two. Beloved wife of 72 years to the late Anthony Lionetto. Devoted mother of Dori Ann Yodice and her husband Thomas, and Michael Lionetto and his wife Rosetta. Adored grandmother of Dana and Christina and great grandmother to Rhys Thomas. Dear sister to the late siblings Emma Archer and Robert Pasi.

As a young woman she was a seamstress and later in life worked for Prentice Hall in Englewood Cliffs until her retirement . Dina was a wonderful hostess and cook. Her house was the one to be at for a holiday. Her legendary polenta feasts were well known to all in her family.  She was the family historian and a consummate storyteller. She was the one you wanted to sit by at a gathering. She was throughout her life devoted to St. Jude. The family ask for no flowers but however would appreciate donations to the St Jude’s Children’s Hospital in her memory. Online Donations – St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (stjude.org)

The family will receive their friends on Wednesday June 19^th from 9:30am-10:30am at the Frank A. Patti and Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Home 327 Main Street “opposite the Fort Lee Library”.  A prayer service will be in Frank A.
