Doreen Kovach

Doreen Kovach, resident of Dumont for 15 years passed away on June 24^th, 2024. She is survived by her Aunts, Uncles, cousins, friends and her mother Gloria Kovach. She formerly lived in Palisades Park, NJ. She was predeceased by her father Andrew Kovach in 2020.

Doreen graduated from the University of St. Elizabeth in 1978 with a BA in Spanish. She loved to travel to Spain. She also traveled to Israel, Italy, France, Poland, Hungary, Czechoslovakia and Austria.

She worked for Electrolux Vacuum Company for 30 years. She loved doing needle point and cross stitch and other crafts. Doreen enjoyed going out to restaurants to eat and going to plays and concerts. She was very good at writing poetry. She published a book “Poems from the Heart” in 2010.

There will be a Memorial Mass on Saturday July 6th at 12pm in Cresskill, NJ all are invited to attend.
