Edwin J. Goodwin Jr.

Goodwin, Edwin J., Jr., age 82 a life-long resident of Edgewater, passed peacefully on September 14^th, 2024.   A proud veteran of the Airforce stationed in Adana Turkey.  A 42-year veteran of the Edgewater Police Department retiring as a Lieutenant in 2007.   “Big Ed” also ran a successful landscaping business Adana Landscaping, which he started in 1972 and served the community for over 4 decades.

Beloved husband of 63 years to Madeline (nee:  Sapanaro).  Devoted father of Amy Sandnes and her husband Ziggy, Nora Tibus and her husband Steve, and Edwin Goodwin, III and his wife Dawn.  Cherished “Boota” of Olivia, David, Eddie, Emily, Christopher, Meaghan, Scott, Nicholas, Steven, and Matthew.  Adored great grandfather of Kaiden.  Dear brother of Robert Goodwin and his wife Theresa and the late Glenn Goodwin.
