Sassano, Eleanor, age 92, lifelong resident of Fort Lee, on August 2, 2015. Beloved Wife of the late Peter. Devoted Mother of Michael Sassano & his wife Maxine, Peter Sassano & his wife Christine, Patricia Castrianni and her husband Joseph. Cherished Grandmother of Joseph, Laura, Elizabeth, Nicole, Michael, Nicolette, Peter, Danny, Hallie. Adored Great Grandmother of 5. Dear Sister of Dorothy Durhec and Late Virginia Petrine. The family will receive their friends Tuesday, 6-9 pm at the Frank A. Patti and Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Home 327 Main Street “opposite of the Fort Lee Library”. The funeral will leave 9:30 am Wednesday for her funeral religious service in Grace Lutheran Church in Palisades Park (corner of Broad & Homestead Ave) at 10 am.
