Frances M. Battaglia

Battaglia, Frances, M., (nee: LaHara) age 82, of Mount Arlington, formerly of Fort Lee, passed peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Thursday February 25, 2021. Born and raised in New York City she dedicated her life to her family. Her favorite past time was enjoying friends, family and playing Bingo.

Beloved wife of 63 years to George Battaglia. Devoted mother of Joann Hansen and her husband Richie, Lorraine Gaglioti and her husband Peter. Cherished grandmother of Danielle Alviano and her husband Brandon, Dana Capra, Peter Anthony Gaglioti, and Vincent George Gaglioti. Adored great grandmother of Jordan, Nicholas and Dominik.

The family will receive their friends on Sunday 2-6 pm at the Frank A. Patti and Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Home 327 Main Street “opposite the Fort Lee Library”. The funeral will leave Monday at 10:00 am for the celebration of her funeral mass in St. Nicholas R.C. Church at 10:30 AM. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
