Calabro, Francesca, nee:Tripodi, age 91, of Fort Lee, on Thursday April 13, 2017. Born in Pellegrina, Italy. Parishioner and Rosarian of Holy Trinity Church of Fort Lee. She had a passion for family, most important were her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Always willing to help and always prepared to feed her friends and family. Beloved wife of 67 years to Joseph. Devoted mother of Domenica Tripodi and her husband Joseph, Carmelo Calabro and his wife Suzanne, and Carmela DellAquila and her husband Patrick. Cherished Nonna of Frank, Joey, Melissa, Joseph, Anna, Anthony and Joe. Adored "Big Nonna" of Matthew, Alexandra, Nathan and Theo. Dear sister-in-law of Pasquale and Maddalena. Adored aunt of Carmela and Greg Varhol and Carmelo and Mary Calabro. The family will receive their friends on Monday 4-8 pm at the Frank A. Patti and Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Home 327 Main Street "opposite the Fort Lee Library". The funeral will leave Tuesday at 10:00AM for the celebration of her funeral mass in Holy Trinity R C Church at 10:30 AM.
