Geraldine Compuesto

Geraldine Reynoso Compuesto is a warmhearted wife, mother, daughter, and sister. Through her extensive 8-year battle with cancer, she peacefully passed away on February 17th in Fort Lee, New Jersey.

Born on September 5th, 1968, in New York City, Gerri always had an indomitable spirit. As the eldest of four children to Butching & Edna, she cares deeply for her family and friends. She is always so generous with her time and made sure to enjoy the small things in life. She has always been supported by her younger siblings, Lisa, Richie, and Corrie and entrusts them in the protection and safekeeping of their family.

Gerri is survived by her adoring husband, Archie, with whom she shares a love of concerts, weekend trips and homemade dinners. She continues to devote her heart and mind to her five children, Alicia, Mia, Josh, Sean, and Liz. Gerri’s kindness and empathy shines to ensure the happiness and well-being of her family and friends.

In lieu of flowers or gifts, please make a donation to the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center or Holy Name Medical Center who both provided excellent care and treatment to Gerri throughout her journey.

The wake for Gerri will be held on Wednesday, February 21st from 4 – 8 pm at the Frank A. Pattiand Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Home 327 Main Street. The celebration of her funeral mass is at Madonna R.C. Church on The Hill on Thursday, Feb 22nd at 10:30 am. The entombment after the funeral is reserved for immediate family.
