Gisella Maria Mattessich

Mattessich, Gisella, nee: Bussani age 92, of Fort Lee, on Saturday December 2, 2023. She was born April 8, 1931 in Sansego, Italy to the Late Nicolo and Maria (nee: Piccinich) Bussanich. She emigrated to the Unites States in 1951 coming to Lyndhurst before settling in Fort Lee. She was a homemaker. Beloved wife of the Late Marco Mattessich. Loving mother to Ornella Mattessich and John Mattessich and his wife Amy. Cherished grandmother to John, Olivia, Luke and Grace. Devoted sister to Angela, Giuliana, Rachele, and Mario. She is predeceased by her sister Maria Silvana and her brothers Giovanni and Guido.

The family will receive their friends on Friday from 5-8pm at the Frank A. Patti and Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Home 327 Main Street “opposite the Fort Lee Library”. The funeral will leave Saturday at 10 AM for the celebration of her funeral mass in Main Madonna RC Church at 10:30 AM. If so desired, memorials are encouraged to the Michael J.
