Helen M. Spada

Helen M. Spada,age 96  of Leonia, on November 7, 2024.  Born in Hoboken, she taught History and Special Education for the Hoboken School District. She loved to cook, read and spend time with family.

Beloved wife of 62 years to the late Frank Spada.  Devoted mother of Jerry and his wife Pam, Frank “Buddy” and his wife MaryEllen, Bob and his wife Karen, and Jeff and his wife Neslihan. Cherished grandmother of Adam, Joe, Steven, Christopher, Alyssa, John, Aldila, Nick and Alex.  Adored great grandmother of Luke, Grace, Brooke, Pfeiffer Robin, Archer and Elena. Dear sister of the late Josephine Spano, Sam Monaco, Antonia “Babe” Marzocca and Dr. Anthony Monaco..

The family will receive their friends and family on Tuesday November 12th  3-7 pm at the Frank A. Patti and Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Home 327 Main Street “opposite the Fort Lee Library”. The funeral procession will leave Wednesday November 13th  at 10:30 am for the celebration of her funeral mass in Madonna R.C. Church On The Hill at 11:00 AM.
