John Siaflas

Siaflas, John age 82, of Fort Lee, on Tuesday January 31, 2017. He was born in Athens Greece and was a Restaurateur of Olympic Restaurant of New York. A family man who enjoyed visiting his family with frequent trips to his home in Greece. He truly enjoyed the art of food, not only cooking but tasting and was known for his love of lobster. He had a zest for life including dancing, playing cards and creating life-long friendships. Beloved husband of Maria nee; Telles. Devoted father of Anthe and Peter Georvasilis and the late Alexandra Siaflas. Cherished grandfather of Melina and Christina. Dear brother of Thanasi, Kiki, Evangelos and Youla. Adored brother-in-law of George and his wife Cynthia. Dear uncle of Aryiana. The family will receive their friends on Friday February 3, 20174:00 – 8:00 pm at the Frank A. Patti and Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Home 327 Main Street "opposite the Fort Lee Library". All are asked to Assemble Saturday in St. John The Theologian Greek Orthodox Cathedral at 10:30 AM.
