McAlear, John “Jack” Passed away on Tuesday, May 1st surrounded by his family.

Born in Jersey City, Jack was Broker-Owner of McAlear-Cavalier Realtors, in Leonia, N.J., the community that he so loved. Beloved husband of Susan (nee Duffy). Cherished father of Kim Hargis and husband, Arthur, Matthew and his wife, Meghan and Brian and his wife, Danielle.

Loving grandfather to Meghann Hargis, Abby and Connor Horl-McAlear and Christian, Lucy and Joseph McAlear. Dear brother of Katherine Dwyer and proud Uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Viewing will be held on Sunday, May 6th, at the Frank A. Patti & Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Directors, 327 Main Street, Fort Lee, N.J. from 2:00pm to 7:00pm. Funeral Mass to celebrate Jack's life and faith will be held on Monday, May 7th, at 11:00 AM in St. John the Evangelist Church, 235 Harrison St., Leonia, N.J.
