Joseph Thomas Tansey

Tansey, Joseph Thomas age 39, of Hackensack, born and raised in Edgewater, passed on Tuesday March 30, 2021. A graduate of Leonia High School Class of 1999, he was a Carpenter for the United Brotherhood of Carpenters Local #253 for the past decade and a half. He loved children and loved helping people. He was a man of his word.

Beloved son of Thomas and Ann Tansey. Cherished brother of Patrick Tansey, Michael Tansey and his fiancé Iris. Adored uncle of Renata and Isabella. He will be missed by many cousins especially his buddy Michael Rae.

The family will receive their friends on Tuesday 4-8 pm at the Frank A. Patti and Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Home 327 Main Street “opposite the Fort Lee Library”. The funeral will leave Wednesday at 11 AM for the celebration of his funeral mass in Holy Rosary RC Church at 11:30am .
