Lauren Tansey

Lauren Catherine Tansey, of Manasquan, age 56, passed away on Sunday December 20, 2020. Originally from Palisades Park, Lauren was the daughter of the late Catherine Rotolo Tansey and Patrick Tansey, sister of the late Brian Joseph Tansey, and niece of the late Joseph Rotolo. Lauren is survived by her brother, Patrick James "Jimmy" Tansey, her long-time best friend, Anthony Cortazzo, and her baby, Lennon. She is also survived by her uncle, Peter Rotolo, and cousins, Cathy, Peter Clifford, Penny, Joseph, Lyn, and Michelle, as well as many other cousins and family. Lauren was a graduate of Palisades Park Junior/Senior High School, class of 1982, then attended Pine Manor College and Boston College. Lauren worked very closely with her brother, Patrick James, at Dillingers then with her brother, Brian Joseph, at Admento, where she became one of the first women COOs on Wall Street. Lauren loved to travel and visited many islands in the Caribbean as well as Hawaii, Belize and Italy. She particularly loved to travel to Aruba with her family. Lauren will be remembered for her kindness and generosity, and was a caring, loyal friend to many. The family will receive family and friends for a private service on Monday, December 28, 2020, at 9:30 am at the Frank Patti and Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Home, 327 Main Street, Fort Lee, NJ.
